This is the main theme from the American TV-serie ‚M*A*S*H‘ (1970). This simple pop song is co-written by Mike Altman (director Robert Altman’s son), only 14 years old when he wrote it. Robert Altman later joked that he only earned 70 000 dollars making the TV-series while the title song made his son a millionaire….
