Les Noces (1922)

The 1922 version of Les Noces has an important place in Stravinsky’s ballet output. It marks the end of his Russian period, and the beginning of his neo-classic period. Les Noces was composed after the three main Russian period ballets, The Firebird, Petroushka, and The Rite Of Spring.
