In The Bleak Midwinter

This is a Christmas psalm based on the poem ‚in the Bleak Midwinter‘ by the English poet Christina Rossetti and written before 1872 for the magazine Scribner’s Monthly. It was publishe posthuma in Rosettis anthology ‚Poetic Works‘ in 1904, and added to the English hymnal in 1906 with music from Gustav Holst.
