Dichotomie

Dichtotomie was intended to be composed in the January 2000 as a surprise new work for Gloria Cheng in Los Angeles, but wasn’t finished until the following summer. It lasts a total of 17 minutes and is cored for solo piano. The music is written in a way that it is completely continuous.
